Remains With You is a specialty art glass studio offering you a unique and colorful way to commemorate your loved one and keep them close. Encasing a bit of the ashes of your beloved in colored glass I create a one of kind wearable art piece.

Sara’s Story

I am a lifelong creative soul. Everything from making paper doll clothes as a little girl, to choreographing swim routines at summer camp, to writing and designing my home, I thrive on opportunities to be creative.

Twenty years ago, I was in a tough chapter of my life. A single mom with two kids, I was struggling to keep my head and heart together. On a summer vacation to my sister’s home in Canada, the day before heading home to Cincinnati, she taught me the art of lampworking. I was hooked! This art, creating colorful beads from glass, gave me focus and solace at a time when I desperately needed both.

I love lampworking and jewelry making because it offers such a range of creativity. The moment of creating a bead; bringing something beautiful to exist is exciting and fun. Taking those beads and putting them out in the world for others to own is joyful.

What is especially meaningful to me about Remains With You is that it is a joint venture between me, you and your loved one. We all have a part in making something beautiful and memorable.
